Oh man~ I finally have time to get through my dA messages. xD
Work started Monday, and seems to own me. I've worked closing Monday, Tuesday, and will agian today. Which means I go in at 3:45 and leave sometime after 10. So I'm slowly turning nocturnal.

Thank goodness the other workers at my ride that I help run (since I do work at an amusement/theme park) are really nice and patient with me. ;3; I'm the slowest bar checker. xDD; Just because I'm making sure that no one will fall out. =3=
The main ride I run broke down twice yesterday, and once on Monday. Like serious stop the ride and no one can get on breaking down. Then the other ride I run, which is a log flume type thing, had one of the seats missing. So there was a whole row that couldn't be seated in one of the boats. D;
But the worst part was deffinently yesteday, when I had to hight check a guy.

The ride I help run is called Invertigo. And, as the name suggests, you go upside down on it. So the restraints come down over your shoulders. For the safety of riders, you can't be over 6'6".
So this guy was standing at the gate, waiting to get in, and I noticed he was taller than the mark I was given to check people at. So when he went to sit down, I asked him if he minded if I checked his height real quick. He of course, said "yes, I do mind". But I made him get up and go get checked anyway. As I checked him, I noticed he was way over the mark of 'too tall'. He also decided to tell me that he'd already rode Invertigo twice that week already. I told him that I was sorry, but I couldn't let him ride for safety reasons, because he was too tall.
And he said, "I'm riding anyway." and got back on the ride.
At this point I had no idea as to what to say to the guy. So I went to the driver of ride and told her that he was too tall and just basically told me off. She said that if the other person working with me couldn't get him off, we'd call security.
As we waited, we talked about how idiotic it was for him to get back on the ride. The driver wasn't about to send him on it, so there was no reason for him to try and get back on. xD
Luckily, the other person talked the guy off the ride. So I went and checked restraints and had to go stand at the exit.
Where the guy I just had kicked off was standing.
Luckily there is a line that is maybe 10 feet away that I could make him stand behind, so he wasn't near me. xD Because it's only a little intimidating being 5'2" and standing next to a guy who's over 6'6" and is pissed at you. ._.;
Luckily, the ride was over quickly enought and he left with his buddies.
Deffinently not my favorite day. Out of two days. ._.;

So right now, my hands are soar and bruised from restraint checking, and my feet hurt from about 6 hours of standing. But other than that, I'm pretty content right now. Other than the cold I've had for about half a week. =3=

And vacation starts on Friday. And my supervisor gave me Thursday off as well. 8D
